Hey there!
I’m Gabbie
Your Wandering Story Teller
Welcome to my corner of the internet, where I gather stories from the road, reflections from quiet mornings, and little snapshots of life that stay with me long after the moment has passed.
I created this space to feel personal and warm — a place where you and I can connect wherever we are in the world, like a note passed between friends. And just like any letter, each piece I share carries a moment I want to remember with you.
I’m glad you’re here.
Stay awhile, explore, and let’s share a few letters along the way.
With light and love,
Gabbie

At its core, Letters From Gabbie is about connection: to places, to people, and to ourselves.
I hope that as you read, you’ll not only see the world through my eyes, but also be reminded of the little things that make your own life rich and meaningful.
Behind the blog
How it all started
Writing has been at the center of my life since 2019, when I first stepped into the world as a lifestyle journalist fresh out of Journalism school. From the start, I knew I wanted to write — not just for the sake of words, but as a way to make an impact, tell stories that matter, and create connections between people who may never meet otherwise.
In those early years, I found myself drawn to culture, food, travel, and people. Covering these stories made me realize how much joy I felt in exploring the world and sharing the hidden gems I stumbled upon.
Travel has always been my way of understanding the world. I love the freedom of planning my own trips, wandering off the beaten path, and discovering places that don’t always make it into guidebooks. But along the way, I often wished I had someone to turn to — a friend who could offer tips, share experiences, or simply be a voice I could connect with while navigating the unfamiliar.
This blog grew from that feeling. It’s my outlet to put stories into words, but more than that, it’s my way of being that someone for you. Whether it’s sharing insights, hidden spots, or just honest reflections from the road, I hope you find in these letters what I once wished I had — a friend to travel with, even from afar
